A real gem of a find. A lovely site with hard standing and grass pitches,
Electric hookup. Toilets & showers were an added benefit and very welcome for a modest charge and spotless. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

We have just had the most lovely stay over Christmas at Bridgend, Robin and Christine were very accommodating. The new facilities are immaculate and very well cared for. The hard standing pitch we were on was a super size and stunning views. Top tip you can catch the local bus outside the gates and dropped here too, just stand and put your hand out. We totally recommend this site for a quiet, peaceful, full of stunning views stay on Arran, we hope to be back soon.....

We have just spent a few days on Bridgend camp site.
We were made to feel very welcome, the owners Christine and Robin are great, what made it special is they take time to chat to you. We have been sea kayaking, walking, watching the wildlife, visiting places of interest and eating out at some of the fantastic eateries on Arran.
Arran is a beautiful little slice of paradise and the setting of the campsite gives spectacular views.
We will be back.
Thanks Diane and Glyn

A wonderful week and to our surprise amazingly central for visting places all over Arran.

The cottage is brilliant and our labrador loved the walks up to the cemetery safe from any traffic. She even mastered the little round gate into the cemetery and went exploring herself. We saw two red squirrels from the kitchen window!

We hope to be back - our thanks go to Robin and Christine for a great stay.

hi
this is a great site, took our small terrier and walked him to the old restored church and graveyards, it is ideally situated on Arran, the owners were very pleasant and came from the Newcastle area as we do.
Very reasonably priced and nice and quiet, midgies can be bad in july/aug just go prepared with your 100% deet.
Lovely coastline up that west side, great island been 2 times and will go again.

Well what can I say, I have always meant to leave feedback on every site I have visited all over the UK but never have, however my family and I have just returned to England today and I am blogging. Arran is a most beautiful place absolutely full of wildlife and is definately Scotland in miniature. The camp site was in the most beautiful place we could have wanted. The pitches were great and it was spotless. Owners were amazing and the site was spotless including the toilets etc. The view was amazing. I loved watching the Buzzards but most of all the Reds I am a wildlife photographer and only on my last day did I get shots of this elusive squirels. A bit of advice build a feeding centre and let people pay to get nice images of the Reds from Hides people pay in excess of £50 in UK for the privelage. Finally thanks again for all you did for us, you have an amazing site and are very caring and attentitive hosts :)

Just had a lovely long weekend here with our campervan, a beautiful site well maintained and would put many other sites to shame.
The attention to detail was impressive with all that the camper could possible require being available and some lovely finishing touches to boot.
Toilets and shower were spotless.
The site is deservedly benefiting from the Ferry prices being cut this year which makes it excellent value for money.
Great hosts couldn't be more helpful, hope to see you again soon.
